How To:

1. Prep the face by moisturising.
2. Prime the face using your choosen primer - MUA, Nars, MAC etc.
3. Using a Duo-Fibre brush stipple on your chosen liquid foundation. Using this brush will give you a flawless ‘Airbrushed’ finish. Apply a translucent powder all over to set the foundation.
4. Using a sharpened liner in Grey or Black, I pencilled the shape of the mask around the eyes & nose. You don’t have to copy mine, go for whatever shape you desire.
5. I then filled this shape in using a cheap Gold Metallic coloured shadow from Active Cosmetics.
6. Taking a Black eye shadow and a blending brush, I worked the colour in & around the inner brows / edges of the bridge of the nose. This made the mask appear like it had morphed around the contours of the face. Also do this around the eye socket.
7. I then created some little shapes around the mask to make it appear more like lace, I did this using my sharpened Black liner pencil. Using a small pencil brush I smudged the colour from the sharp lines in a downwards motion to create a shadow effect.
8. I lined the waterline top & bottom using the same Black eyeliner but be sure to clean it again first. Then I applied some mascara & false lashes to enhance the eyes.
9. Next, I took a Matte Black eyeshadow and my blending brush, and I went around the outside of the mask shading a false shadow effect. This made the mask look as though it was more 3D. You have to make a gradient effect, making sure the darkest area it around the edge of the mask, fading out towards the skin.
10. Lastly, I lined the lips using my trusted Black liner pencil again. Using a clear lip gloss and Black eyeshadow, I mixed them together and painted the outer edges of the lips, fading the colour into the centre. Then, I took the Gold Metallic shadow that I used as the base colour for the mask, and I placed that on the centre of the lips, creating dimension to them.
